【1】Slimmer hour markers, more elegant chronograph subdials
Compared to the previous generation, the hour markers on the 116500LN were noticeably thicker. In the new 126500LN, the markers have been narrowed and refined, visually aligning more closely with the numerals. This creates a more compact chronograph layout while increasing the white space, enhancing the overall sense of depth on the dial!
【2】Crown emblem added at 6 o’clock
In recent years, Rolex has incorporated a crown emblem at the 6 o’clock position on its new models. This latest Daytona follows suit, placing the crown emblem between the “SWISS MADE” inscription at 6 o’clock. Though subtle, this small crown serves as a key distinguishing feature for identifying the new generation of Rolex watches, complementing the dial design.
【3】Ceramic Bezel with New Metal Ring
The ceramic bezel on the new-generation Daytona appears slimmer, thanks to the addition of a metal ring around its perimeter. This not only enhances protection for the ceramic bezel but also complements the refined, slimmer chronograph subdials.
【4】Movement Upgrade
The movement, based on the original 4130 caliber, has been thoroughly reengineered and upgraded. It features the Chronergy escapement system to minimize energy loss, the Paraflex shock absorber to protect the movement’s core, and improved ball bearings to enhance the automatic winding function.
