The essence of the Rainbow Daytona lies in its gradient-colored gemstone bezel. Natural gemstones invariably possess imperfections, so the selected stones undergo optimization to achieve a pure, translucent, and richly saturated quality. ZF Factory meticulously selects and pairs 36 stones from tens of thousands to achieve the most harmonious color gradient transition. The greatest challenge lies in the watch’s limited production run. The required gradient gemstones are not just one set but at least dozens of sets, enabling the production of the corresponding number of watches. This results in extremely scarce availability.
The dial features square-cut rainbow gradient gemstones for hour markers. The three chronograph subdials employ a technique called “Gold Crystals,” creating a layered effect reminiscent of Widmanstätten patterns found in nickel-iron meteorites. When the watch moves, the irregular patterns on the Gold Crystals refract light differently, creating a shimmering, ever-changing effect. creating a profoundly captivating effect.
